I lead an active and healthy lifestyle and I love to be in the outdoors. My 50th birthday was this year and with that birthday came the realization that stress in my everyday work life does not serve me any longer.
This year, I decided to approach my work life differently. I quit my job and have taken a new path after working for someone else my entire life. I wanted to serve myself and help other people so I signed up for Massage Therapy School.
Why Massage Therapy? I know how important it is to care for ourselves mentally and physically in our daily lives. Staying active and reducing everyday stress in my life has helped me become a happier person. The introduction of self-care into my daily practice has improved the quality of my life and made me a much happier person. I dedicate at least an hour out of each day to help myself live my best life. Moving forward I intend to continue to do what I love, feel more at ease with myself and to assist others in enjoying the benefits of my service in massage therapy.
